I see this stuff advertised on tv and was wondering if anyone uses it and how well it really works ? I sometimes have a hard time settling my mind at bedtime so its hard to get to sleep things racing around . Not sure if this stuff is worth the money and not sure even how much it is ? have to go look it up,,

Thanks, Snoopz .. been wondering about stuff .. no idea what it goes for .. most of that stuff is available in other supplements. But I am sure they have the secret recipe ... :)
 
But what do the percentages refer to? Other supplements? Nothing if you have insomnia or what? And how do they justify them? Is it like the skin foundation adds where they did a survey of like 20 people they hand picked? having said that, melatonin helps many people get to sleep (but doesn't help you stay asleep), hop pillows are often used for sleep and relaxation, tryptophan can be a no-no if you take anything else that stimulates serotonin (like anti-depressants) or suffer from serotonin syndrome. Valerian is a common herb used for sedative effect, but you can overdose on it - also increases GABA so you might not want both. I'd just try a couple of ingredients at a time and see if they work for you.
 
I just have been experimenting with CBD and seeing how well it works for me , So far I've found that it works very well for me on the day after my workouts , I seem to have less pain i guess and in turn I tend to sleep better Well also some THC mixed in might be helping :) ?? I do like the taste of the gummies I bought ,yumm yumm . kinda hard to only eat 2 or 3 as stated on the bottle...

I recently read a study that said that regularly taking melatonin as a sleep/jet lag aid, esp in high doses, actually messed up your sleep long term. I wish I could find the link which explained it. Worth a search. Apparently better to support your own melatonin production with GABA and Glycine and, I think, taurine. Melatonin helps you get to sleep but doesn't help you stay asleep. My cats find aerosol valerian calming. But people can react differently to the same substances.
